Job summary

IVY PARK AT SALINAS, managed by Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Concierge for 25 hours/week (PART TIME) with a Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 3pm-8pm schedule. The role pays $17.75-$18.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities across California communities.

The Concierge greets visitors, handles resident requests, tours, and provides clerical support while upholding our mission and values of authenticity, teamwork, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform essential duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Experience in hospitality or senior living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and relay messages promptly and clearly.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond to alerts.
• Manage the business center and process mail.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Foster teamwork with teammates and other departments.

The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging tours of the property, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
