Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Concession Worker to support event-based food service. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare simple foods, and ensure quality and safety standards across the concession areas.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in food service, demonstrate teamwork, and can lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires attention to detail and reliable attendance at events with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders for food and beverages.
• Prepare simple foods and beverages using company recipes and portion standards; maintain high quality and portion consistency.
• Handle payments from guests and provide correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area according to standards.
• Memorize the product menu for the location.
• Assist in cleaning up and breaking down concession/kitchen areas after events.
• Meet attendance standards set by Aramark management.
• Cook and package foods prepared to order or kept warm for sale.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely in a commercial setting.
• Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders.
• Ensure menu items are fresh and meet quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety in work areas.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment (grills, fryers, ovens).
• Keep all areas and equipment clean and organized; rotate stock properly.
• Distribute products to stands promptly and safely.
• Deliver items to stands/areas in a timely manner.
• Restock products as needed with proper rotation.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Job Description

The Concession Worker position is responsible for replenishing stock, preparing and serving food, serving guests and maintaining cleaning standards incompliance with food safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting guests and taking orders for food and beverage products.


• Responsible for preparing simple foods and beverages utilizing the company recipes and portion standards. Maintain the highest quality standards and portion consistency.


• Responsible for accepting payment from guests and making change as necessary.


• Responsible for keeping the work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards.


• Responsible for memorizing the product menu available at each concession location.


• Assist in cleaning up and breaking down of the concession/kitchen areas at the end of the event.


• Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.


• Responsible for cooking and packaging food products which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold


• Perform tasks and cook in a commercial kitchen setting, using hot and cold kitchen equipment safely


• Receives verbal orders from the front counter staff regarding food product requirements for guest orders.


• Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.


• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.


• Responsible for operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens.


• Ensures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift.


• Select correct product, compile and distribute to specified stands by manager/supervisor in a timely & safe manner


• Deliver assigned food items to specified stands/areas in a timely and safe manner


• Stock or re-stock products and items, in a timely and safe manner using product rotation to ensure quality for gust experience


• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment


• Time management skills


• Excellent customer service


• Minimum 1 year experience in the food service industry


• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs


• Ability to walk or stand for extended time periods, up to 6-8 hours


• Must be able to safely operate all kitchen equipment


• Must be able to read and follow recipes


• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions


• Crosstrain at other stations at the location


• Work in other areas or departments as needed


• Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team
