Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Concessions Stand Lead at F&M Arena to provide on-site leadership for an assigned concession stand during events. You’ll direct concession staff, uphold service standards, and ensure rapid, accurate service during high-volume periods.

This role reports to the Concessions Supervisor and involves staffing support, training, and close collaboration to optimize guest satisfaction. You should have 1–3 years in concessions or food service and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of concessions, food service, or customer service experience.
• Prior lead experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to lead alcohol service based on local and state regulations.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS/TEAM or equivalent alcohol-service certification and comply with state training requirements.
• A food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-stand lead for assigned concession locations during events.
• Provide guidance and support to staff during peak service periods.
• Address basic guest concerns and elevate issues to the Concessions Supervisor when appropriate.
• Communicate operational needs, staffing issues, or supply shortages to leadership.
• Support onboarding and training of concession staff.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Pay Range: $17.25 per hour - $20.31 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Concessions Stand Lead at Sodexo, you will provide on-site leadership for an assigned concession stand or location during events. This role supports daily stand operations by directing concession staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring efficient execution during high-volume periods. The Concessions Stand Lead works closely with the Concessions Supervisor to support staffing, service flow, and guest satisfaction.

Concessions Stand Leads are actively involved in operations and serve as the primary point of contact for staff assigned to their stand. This role is specific to event-based concessions environments and focuses on speed of service, accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance.
