Job summary

Marcus Theatres in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a part-time Concessions Attendant to support the theatre operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will greet guests, assist with loyalty programs, prepare and serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean, safe concession area.

The role requires a friendly, fast-paced, team-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and customer service. Flexible scheduling is needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willing and motivated to learn new skills and tasks.
• Flexible schedule including late evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for delivering hospitality and quality food & service.
• Ability to follow cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete loyalty transactions; thank guests.
• Sell food and beverages at the concession stand.
• Meet sales goals through loyalty sign-ups, upselling and sampling.
• Operate POS terminals and make accurate change.
• Prepare food following safety policies and local regulations.
• Fill online concession orders and prepare for pickup.
• Perform daily concession maintenance and stocking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of concession areas.
• Monitor social distancing guidelines and guest flow.
• Provide friendly, fast guest service and resolve concerns.
• Support other duties as directed by management.
