Job summary

Traders Village in Houston is seeking a Food Service Custodial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across food service concessions, cantinas, and restaurants. • Experience with cleaning and sanitation in a food-service setting.
• Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols.
• Teamwork and reliable shift performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe food service environment to protect the health of the public.
• Demonstrate proper and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and Ecolab cleaning products.
• Keep janitorial storage rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop concession and food stand floor on designated days.
• Clean glass, windows, walls and counters , receptables, rubber mats, and doors.
• Collect and dispose of trash from food stands and restaurants.
• Secure facilities at the end of shifts, ensuring all areas are locked when required.
• Sanitize and maintain cleaning equipment properly after use.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize serving and seating areas around concessions and cantinas.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the Supervisor/Manager when inventory is low.
• Perform other cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
