Marcus Theatres Corporation in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Part Time Concessions Attendant to join our fast-paced theatre team. You will greet guests, process transactions, and serve food and beverages at the concession stand while meeting sales goals.

• Must work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays; Tuesday availability required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to industry demands.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene practices per standards.
• Friendly, positive attitude with focus on excellent service.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Previous experience in warehouse, fast food, food service, cashier, golf course, retail, hotel, or airport helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, complete transactions, and thank them for their business.
• Sell food and beverages at the concession stand, meeting sales goals.
• Promote loyalty card sign-ups, upselling, and suggestive selling.
• Operate point-of-sale terminals, make accurate change, and fulfill online orders.
• Prepare food and beverages following food safety policies and local regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness by stocking, sanitizing, and cleaning concession and beverage areas.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and fast service, resolving guest concerns.
• Uphold Marcus' standards, follow safe chemical-use instructions, and assist management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at all times.
