Location: Grove – Riverside, CA 92508

Position Type: Part Time

Salary Range: $16.90 – $17.00 hourly

Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays evenings, 4‑12 hours per week based on seasonal need.

About the Role

The Grove’s Hub Ministry creates inviting spaces for food and fellowship. The Concessions Associate works with the Grove’s Sports and Recreation Ministry to serve guests at “The Stand,” preparing and serving concession items while delivering a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Take food orders and serve guests.
• Prepare foods, drinks, and snacks for customers.
• Properly store food by applying food safety policies and procedures.
• Serve food to guests while ensuring satisfaction and anticipating their needs.
• Maintain the outdoor space near the concession stand during business hours.
• Courteously greet and assist all guests.
• Maintain excellent service, a positive demeanor, friendliness, and efficiency toward guests and co‑workers.
• Register sales on the POS system.
• Manage cash and perform cash counts.
• Perform routine cleaning; keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
• Replenish food items and ensure products are stocked.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must possess a Riverside County Food Handler’s Permit (testing may be provided after position acquisition).

Reports to: Hub Ministry Director

Works with: Hub Ministry Director, Sports Ministry Team, volunteers
