Job summary

Marathon Staffing Group is seeking a Bartender Concession Worker for Downtown Mesa. This part-time, temporary role involves serving concessions and beverages during events, engaging customers with a friendly, efficient service style, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Expect up to 19 hours per week (Wednesday to Sunday) at $20.00/hour plus cash tips. Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED, Arizona Food Handler’s Card, and Title 4 certification within 30 days of hire; strong math,

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Arizona Food Handler’s Card and Arizona Title 4 certification within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have basic working knowledge of food and beverage.
• Must have basic math skills to accurately count and handle money.
• Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions and multi-task work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sell and serve concessions, including food, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to patrons.
• Operate a cash register/POS system and accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Handle assigned cash funds and maintain accurate sales transactions and records.
• Restock food, beverages, condiments, and other concession supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary concession area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and alcohol-service requirements.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during performances and events.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
