Job summary

Arbogast Performing Arts Center in Troy, OH, seeks a Concert Production Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of productions. You will act as the primary contact for production, advance events, staffing, and resources, and provide technical leadership for audio, video, lighting, and networked AV systems.

The role requires a strong technical foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication to manage priorities and relationships with artists and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in live-event production, technical direction, or a comparable technical role.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn unfamiliar equipment, software and workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with multi-priority management.
• Clear written and verbal communication to coordinate production personnel.
• Working knowledge of professional audio fundamentals and live mixing.
• Working knowledge of IP networking and Dante, and networked AV concepts.
• Proficiency with macOS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
• Availability for irregular hours per event calendar.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production advance process as primary contact for artists and vendors.
• Develop and maintain production schedules coordinating with operations.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and equipment needs early for corrective action.
• Review riders, stage plots, input lists, lighting and power requirements, labor calls.
• Coordinate backline and equipment rentals including quotes, setup and pickup.
• Manage load-in, show operations, and load-out while supervising crew.
