Job summary

Higgsfield Inc. is hiring a speculative artist to shape visuals for cutting-edge GenAI animation. You’ll craft characters, environments, and mood boards across multiple styles.

Work closely with the creative director and animation team, iterating quickly and exploring AI-assisted workflows to speed up production while maintaining high quality. This role offers remote-friendly collaboration and competitive compensation with strong creative ownership.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio in character design and/or environment art for animation.
• Solid foundation in composition, color, lighting, and anatomy.
• Flexibility across visual styles.
• Proficiency with Photoshop or Procreate; 3D tools a plus.
• Understanding of animation pipelines.
• Curiosity about generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts for animated projects: characters, environments, and key moods.
• Design characters—from exploration sketches to turnarounds and expression sheets.
• Create background art that defines the world, lighting, and atmosphere.
