Job summary

U.S. Pacific Fleet in Hawaii seeks a Communications Security/Key Management Infrastructure KOAM to manage secure communications, administer iAPP accounts, and advise on policy for submarine-wide operations.

You will handle COMSEC material, coordinate with DOA agencies, and ensure compliance with security requirements. The role requires system administration experience, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Interpreting communications security instructions and regulations to manage secure communications.
• Experience as system administrator and providing customer support.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as COMSEC/KMI KOAM and manage associated accounts.
• Support Pacific Fleet Submarine Communications Management and issue COMSEC materials/equipment guidance.
• Administer KMI Management Clients (MGCs), IMO, CPA, and TSO for all iAPP accounts.
• Advise Director, C4I on policy related to iAPP for submarine-wide communications.
• Make decisions influencing COMSEC policies, processes, programs.
• Maintain custody, accountability, inventory, transfer and destruction of COMSEC material and cryptographic equipment.
