Job summary

ProSync is seeking a passionate COMSEC Engineer II to help ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations, drawing on some of the nation's leading personnel and cybersecurity thought leaders for enhancing, accelerating, and assuring the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; or Associate's degree plus 4 years COMSEC experience; or 6 years COMSEC work experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with SAR eligibility.
• IAT/IAM Level II certification.
• Experience with COMSEC key management and EKMS/KMI systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain COMSEC key management architectures.
• Support lifecycle management of cryptographic equipment, keying material, and ECU deliverables.
• Coordinate COMSEC activities with developers, security personnel, and government customers.
• Maintain compliance with COMSEC policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
• Utilize KMI and EKMS processes for distribution, tracking, and accountability of cryptographic material.
• Provide technical support for cryptographic implementations, including testing and sustainment.
• Assist with COMSEC account inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Support certification, accreditation, and implementation of cryptographic solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and security artifacts.
• Collaborate with government and international partners on interoperability.
• Research and evaluate cryptographic technologies and modernization efforts.
• Communicate technical information through reports, briefings, and leadership coordination.
