Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a qualified professional to support COMSEC, cryptographic, and cybersecurity functions for Navy and DoD programs. The role involves policy alignment, research on security requirements, and producing briefings for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic analysis and assessments of information assurance and cybersecurity requirements and capabilities.
• Support DoD COMSEC, network, and cybersecurity meetings to assess policy, requirements, and warfare capabilities.
• Assist in tracking modernization efforts across the Department of the Navy with stakeholders in HQMC, OPNAV, and SYSCOMs.
• Develop information papers and briefings for senior client leadership to inform decisions.
• Support planning and execution of security and cybersecurity initiatives across Navy programs.

Provide technical and financial analytic support to the client’s Communications Security (COMSEC) and Cryptographic program portfolio and efforts to ensure alignment with Department of the Navy, Joint, and DoD strategic COMSEC and cybersecurity goals and objectives. Conduct research and analysis on COMSEC, cryptography, cybersecurity, and IT network technicalrequirements and policy compliance to support the development of information papers and briefings for senior client leadership. Actively participate in the planning and support of DoD COMSEC, network, and cybersecurity meetings to assess policy, requirements, and warfare capabilities to ensure the client’s positions are accurately presented. Assist in tracking modernization efforts across the Department of the Navy, coordinating with stakeholders across USMC and USN at the headquarters and program levels.Provide programmatic analysis and assessments of information assurance and cybersecurity requirements and capabilities to support and defend the client’s strategic investments.

You Have:

• Experience with Department of the Navy staff as military, civilian, or contractor in HQMC, OPNAV, or Navy Systems Commands (SYSCOMs)
• Knowledge of Navy cryptographic systems or devices currently in service and under development

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
