Job summary

Crimson Global Academy in Greenwich seeks a Teacher in Charge of Computing to combine classroom teaching with subject leadership. You will support the Head of Mathematics to uphold high standards, contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and professional development, while ensuring engaging online and in-person lessons.

The role includes leadership responsibilities across a 22-period term and collaboration with academic and pastoral teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with strong Computing expertise.
• Experience teaching Computing at secondary-school level.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging online lessons.
• Knowledge of examination specifications and curriculum requirements.
• Able to support, advise and develop other teachers.
• Familiar with technology and digital learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computing with high-quality online lessons.
• Support Department Head in executing priorities.
• Provide guidance to other teachers.
• Develop schemes of work and curriculum plans.
• Keep up with exam specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate and develop tests and examinations.
• Assess and record student work and provide feedback.
• Contribute to professional development of colleagues.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.

• Support students' pastoral wellbeing in collaboration with Deans.
