Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design and deploy real-time vision systems supporting critical national defense operations. The role blends hands-on development with system-level thinking and close collaboration across software, systems, and program management teams.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in computer vision or ML, a TS/SCI clearance, and deep experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience in computer vision, machine learning, or closely related fields.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph eligibility.
  • Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, including Flask, SQLAlchemy, Boto3, NumPy, and Pillow, as well as deep learning tools such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with modern computer vision models such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, and Vision Transformers.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV and classical computer vision techniques.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, including Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with ML utilities such as MLflow, Optuna, and DVC.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced vision models for object detection, tracking, scene understanding, and activity recognition.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate vision capabilities into defense systems.
  • Optimize performance for edge devices and embedded systems.
  • Complete testing and validation of computer vision systems.
  • Contribute to system architecture, technical strategy, and lifecycle engineering activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help define best practices.

We are seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to help build cutting-edge solutions that support critical national defense operations. This role combines hands-on development, system-level thinking, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams including software engineers, systems integrators, and program managers.You'll be at the forefront of designing and deploying real-time computer vision systems that perform in dynamic and often high-stakes environments.
