Job description

At Invisible AI, we are building the future of computer vision. Our core focus is on developing an end-to-end platform that can digitize the physical world to solve business problems. Today, our Vision Execution System uses AI-enabled edge cameras to analyze human body posture and actions in real time, without streaming any video to the cloud. Coming from the world of self-driving cars, the founders of Invisible AI have years of experience in building and deploying large-scale machine learning pipelines.

The role

As a Computer Vision Engineer on our team, in addition to pushing the boundaries of existing deep learning technologies, you will be solving complex algorithmic challenges that deep learning alone cannot. You will be working with a world-class team of engineers to deploy a new wave of AI products that work out of the box across domains without weeks or months of data collection.

Location: Remote, United States.

What you’ll do
  • Lead the research, design and implementation of computer vision algorithms, including but not limited to detection, segmentation and tracking of person pose and objects in the scene, and 3D reconstruction from multiple views.
  • Fine-tune and deploy LLM and VLM models on on-prem GPU clusters running local models.
  • Develop and train end-to-end deep learning models that can run on NVIDIA Jetson edge compute platforms.
  • Work on data preprocessing, augmentation and cleaning to ensure high-quality input data for the computer vision models.
  • Optimize algorithms and models for real-time or near-real-time processing, taking into account efficiency and resource constraints.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate computer vision solutions into our products and systems.
  • Develop robust testing procedures and validation frameworks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our computer vision systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, and apply cutting-edge techniques to our projects.
  • Document code, algorithms and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
What you bring
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong background in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning.
  • 2–3+ years of experience with C++ and Python in a Linux/Unix environment.
  • 1+ years of experience training and deploying machine learning models.
  • Experience with perception systems and algorithms, such as object detection, tracking, segmentation and camera calibration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Highly effective time management and remote work communication.
  • Passion for AI and readiness to take risks in a startup environment.
  • Fair exposure to edge computing platforms like NVIDIA Jetson or other hardware accelerators for machine learning.
