Challenger School in California is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as computer teachers. You will deliver Challenger’s programming curriculum to students from 1st through 8th grade, helping them become independent, critical thinkers.

A proven curriculum exists and training will be provided; teaching other elementary subjects may occur as needed. We operate across eight Bay Area campuses and are hiring for several locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Completion of pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly learn and deliver Challenger’s curriculum and teaching methods.
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment.
• Prepare daily lesson plans.
• Teach programming classes from 1st to 8th grade according to campus needs.

Challenger School is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at our California campuses as a computer teacher. Challenger uses computer programming to teach students to be independent, critical thinkers. As a computer teacher at Challenger, you will be responsible for teaching programming lessons in ways that support this goal. A proven programming curriculum is already in place and training will be provided. This position may include teaching other elementary subjects, as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year college bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology
• Familiarity with programming languages, particularly Python

• Ability to pass a background check
• Completion of pre-employment assessments
