Job summary

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support Fort Novosel, Alabama. This onsite role focuses on configuring security tools, analyzing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs and ARs.

You will automate tasks with PowerShell, collect and visualize security data, and collaborate with IT staff to implement robust security controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 2 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Familiar with NIST SP 800-37 and ARs.
• Experience with ACAS, CIS Benchmarks, SCAP.
• Experience with cybersecurity RMF documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer endpoint security tools (ePO, HBSS, ACAS).
• Configure and tune endpoint protection, firewall, and DLP.
• Analyze scan results, prioritize risks, coordinate remediation.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and IT security policies.
• Automate admin tasks and data collection with PowerShell.
• Collate and visualize security data from ACAS, ePO, Elastic.
• Develop and track IT security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with end users to apply proper security controls.

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a Computer Systems Analyst supporting Fort Novosel, AL.

This position is 100% onsite.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manage and administer endpoint security tools, including Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
• Configure, deploy, and tune security modules such as endpoint protection, host-based firewall, and data loss prevention (DLP).
• Analyze vulnerability scan results, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation efforts with system administrators to ensure system integrity.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, organizational IT security policies, and other applicable standards.
• Automate routine administrative tasks, data collection, and system configuration using PowerShell scripting.
• Collate, analyze, and visualize security data from ACAS, ePO, Elastic, and other IT systems for reporting and decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and track IT security policies, standards, and procedures to protect organizational systems and information assets.
• Work with end users and departments to understand security needs and ensure proper controls are applied across the organization.

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or equivalent field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge with of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-37 and Army Regulations (ARs) and pamphlets.
• Knowledge and experience with automated tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmark, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).
• Knowledge and experience of cybersecurity, A&A and RMF documentation development and support.
