Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland is hiring a Junior Computer Systems Analyst to translate business needs into system requirements and collaborate with IT teams on development and testing.

This onsite role offers a path to grow technical expertise while contributing to important state agency projects. You will work under supervision to craft specifications, support QA, and help implement reliable information systems that improve operations and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
  • Three (3) years of computer experience in technical assignments.
  • One (1) year of experience analyzing and programming applications on large-scale or LAN-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • The Junior Computer Systems Analyst develops requirements for information systems from project inception to conclusion.
  • Assists senior computer systems analyst in preparing input and test data for the proposed system.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.

Responsibilities:

The Computer Systems Analyst (Junior) develops requirements for information systems from a project’s inception to conclusion. This individual develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex systems. The position shall be responsible for assisting senior computer systems analyst in preparing input and test data for the proposed system.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline
  • Three (3) years of computer experience in assignments of a technical nature, working under close supervision and direction
  • One (1) year of experience in analyzing and programming applications on large-scale or mid-tier computers (or LAN-based) with a minimum of one (1) year of design and programming of moderately complex IT systems
