The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Computer Science Teacher at the high school effective for the start of the 2026-27 school year. You will implement the district's computer science education instructional program and provide instruction to enable students to master CS skills outlined in the curriculum.

AP CS Principles and/or AP CS A teaching may be required, with Cisco networking certification preferred.

Qualificações

• Teaches a variety of high school CS courses including AP CS Principles and AP CS A.
• AP CS 7-12 teaching certificate required; master's degree preferred.
• Experience teaching AP CS courses and working cooperatively with others.
• Record of attendance and commitment to the district's CS curriculum.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver the district's computer science education program to high school students.
• Provide instruction and a learning environment enabling student mastery of CS skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and program goals.

The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Computer Science Teacher at the high school effective for the start of the 2026-27 school year. This position is responsible for implementing the district's computer science education instructional program with students and providing the students with appropriate instruction and a learning environment that will enable each student in the district to master the basic computer science educationskills outlined in the curriculum. This position teachesa variety of high school computer science courses, including Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science Principles and/or AP Computer Science A.PA Computer Science 7-12 teaching certificate,experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science courses, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, andacceptable record of attendance required. Certification or experience in Cisco Networking courses (e.g., CCNA, IT Essentials) and master's degreepreferred.Minority candidates are encouraged to apply. EOE.
