The Department of Computer Science (CS) and the Lee J. Styslinger Jr. College of Engineering at The University of Alabama invite applications for multiple tenure‑track faculty positions at all ranks. This posting is specifically for candidates applying for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates with research in Quantum Information Systems, High‑Performance Computing, Quantum Computing, Augmented/Virtual Reality, or any domain relevant to computer science are of particular interest.
Applications are due on or before November 21, 2025. A typical start date is August 16, 2026, but flexibility is possible.
