Job summary

BeaconFire Inc in New Jersey seeks a Computer Programmer to join our team. You will design codes for modernizing legacy programs and building real-time web applications, while revising and expanding existing software.

Qualifications

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiar with software frameworks such as Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Good knowledge of continuous Integration, continuous deployment and object-oriented analysis and design.
• Proficiency with software tools and systems such as VS Code, PyCharm, TFS, MySQL, Gradle, Angular.
• Able to conduct inversion of control and dependency injection frameworks messaging.

Responsibilities

• Design codes for adaptation of the old legacy programs and new real-time web application.
• Perform revision, repair, and expansion of legacy programs.
• Maintain services and applications in good working condition on weekly basis through matrix and charts.
• Investigate networks, workstations, CPU, and peripheral equipment responsiveness through upgrades and tests.
• Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams describing input, output, and logical operations.
• Collaborate with operators and system analysts to define and resolve problems in running programs.
• Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results.
• Write, update, and maintain programs to handle jobs such as inventory tracking and data storage.
• Compile and write documentation of program development and revisions with comments.
• Prepare workflow diagrams and convert them into instructions coded in a computer language.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Design codes for the adaptation of the old legacy programs and new real-time web application
• Perform revision, repair, and expansion of legacy programs
• Maintain services and applications in good working condition on weekly basis through matrix and charts
• Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, and peripheral equipment are responding to a program’s instructions through monthly raptor upgrades and pipeline tests
• Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operations for team workers
• Collaborate with computer operators and system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs
• Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced
• Perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing database to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct
• Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking inventory, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment
• Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
• Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program
• Prepare detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
