JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy. A Computer Operator II sets up, operates, and monitors complex computer operations to process data for business, engineering, or scientific uses.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience and technical/vocational training beyond high school. Strong communication, analytical and planning skills are essential, with the ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Vocational/technical or military equivalent training beyond high school.
• Minimum of three years of related job experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and software applications.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; good planning and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor complex computer operations and peripheral equipment.
• Comply with operation policy, standards, and procedures.
• Gather data for reports for accounting, management, or engineering applications.
• Compile programs and write minor operational programs.
• Organize input/output of data and investigate irregularities.
• Provide technical support to users and maintain computer equipment.
• Assist in maintenance, inventory, and problem resolution of hardware/software.
