Primary Purpose

Duties and responsibilities as presented are intended to be representative and not restrictive. The District reserves the right to modify the assignment and allocation of duties in accordance with operational needs.

Special Requirements

The award of all degrees must be verifiable on a legible transcript. If the degree award date is not posted on the transcript, your application will be deemed incomplete and removed from consideration. Grade cards will not be accepted in lieu of transcripts. All degrees and coursework used to satisfy the required minimum qualifications must be submitted and come from accredited postsecondary institutions. Evaluation of foreign degrees and/or coursework is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Any bachelor’s degree or higher AND two (2) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
• Any associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the teaching assignment.
• Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area.
• Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
• Commitment to diversity. Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in networks, network security, and/or Cisco systems.
• Possess relevant Computer Information Systems industry certificates.
• Commitment to examine, reflect, and modify instructional, relational, and classroom practices in order to effectively engage and support disproportionately impacted student populations with the goal of closing equity gaps.

Salary Range

$1572.67 – $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 – $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 – $1380.60 per lab unit rate.

Candidate Selected Requirements: The candidate will be required to provide official transcripts and verification of experience prior to the first duty day, identification and employment eligibility as outlined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act, fingerprints and required medical certification pursuant to statute. NOCCCD will not sponsor any visa applications.
