Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of data analytics experience.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Microsoft or Palantir platforms.
• Ability to communicate insights through storytelling.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Summary Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking an entry-level Computer/Data Scientist to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field who has a passion for transforming data into meaningful visualizations and actionable insights. Working alongside experienced government and contractor personnel, you will develop dashboards, communicate data-driven insights, and support decision-making for Department of Defense programs using Microsoft and Palantir technologies.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Army Logistics operations.
• Familiarity with Army Vantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience using SQL or Python for basic data analysis.
• Internship or project experience supporting government or defense organizations.
