Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced CT Tech for assignments at a Virginia facility. You will interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, and operate CT and X-ray equipment across diverse patient ages.

Requirements include 2 years CT experience, JRCERT Radiology program, ARRT and BLS certifications, Virginia license, and the ability to perform general and portable radiography. Weekend shifts and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years CT Tech experience.
• JRCERT-accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Virginia license to practice.
• Ability to perform general radiography and portable radiography for all ages.
• Ability to operate CT and X-ray equipment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• AMA-accredited Radiology Technology program.

Job description

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech! You’ll accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

• 2 years CT Tech experience
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
• Current VA License
• Ability to perform general diagnostic radiography and portable radiography procedures on patients of all ages
• Ability to operate CT and X-ray equipment
• Knowledge of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
• Completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program
• Shift hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am.
• Shift days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Weekend requirement: Every Saturday and Sunday.
• On-call requirement: None.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays and be available for all shifts as needed.
