Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced CT Tech to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

This role focuses on adult acute care, ICU and ER environments with opportunities to work across GE, PACS, and Siemens systems while maintaining strict radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years CT Tech experience.
• JRCERT-accredited program in Radiology.
• Current ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in adult acute care, ICU, and ER settings.
• Experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment.
• Experience performing a wide range of CT studies.
• Experience with radiation safety and contrast administration.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions.
• Administer contrast materials as required.
• Operate CT scan equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Regular floating between departments and facilities as needed.

Job description

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech! You’ll accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

• 2 years CT Tech experience
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
• Experience in adult acute care, ICU, and ER settings
• Experience with GE, PACS, and Siemens equipment
• Experience performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular chest, carotid, head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, brain perfusion, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic CT studies
• Experience with 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Experience with isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, and radiation safety
• Shift hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Scheduled days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• No call required
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities based on patient care needs
