Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Myrtle Beach is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for travel assignments within a hospital radiology department. You will interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, and operate GE CT scanners to support ED and inpatient imaging.

Requirements include 2+ years CT tech experience, JRCERT-accredited radiology program, ARRT and BLS credentials, and Level 1 trauma experience. Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; travel housing and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiology program.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma setting experience.
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently.
• Ability to perform routine CT exams for ED and IP patients.
• Experience with trauma pan scans, head/neck/chest/abdomen/pelvis/extremities/CTA.

Job description

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech! You’ll accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

• 2 years CT Tech experience
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
• Ability to perform routine CT exams for ED and IP patients
• Experience with trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• Shift hours: 1900-0730
• Setting: Hospital radiology department
• Patient population: ED and inpatient only
• Equipment: GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice scanners
• Documentation system: Meditech
