Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced CT Tech to accurately interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, and expertly operate CT scanners across the hospital. The role supports imaging services throughout multiple Radiology areas.

Required are 2 years CT experience, a JRCERT-accredited radiology program, ARRT certification with CT specialization (ARRT-CT), and BLS. Trauma center exposure and weekend rotation eligibility are needed.

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician scanning instructions accurately.

• Provide imaging services in a Level II Trauma Center environment.

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech! You’ll accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years CT Tech experience
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• BLS certification
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Experience with biopsy drainage, trauma, and angiogram procedures required
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center environment required

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:30-17:30
• Standard hours per week: 36
• Floating required throughout the hospital, working in different areas of the Radiology department
• Weekend rotation varies based on departmental needs
• On call is voluntary
