Job summary

MISTRAS Group in Kingsport, TN is seeking a Computed Radiography Level II Code Technician to perform inspection of weldments, piping systems and fixed equipment within assigned areas.

The ideal candidate holds a Level II Computed Radiography or Digital Radiography certification with at least 5 years of experience, current IRRSP or state card, and MT, PT and UTT certifications. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required.

Minimum Requirements

• Current level II Computed Radiography or Digital Radiography code certification with 5 years’ experience
• Current IRRSP or state card
• Current MT, PT and UTT certifications
• Ability to follow and draft standard piping isometric drawings
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and valid driver’s license

Essential Physical Functions

• Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in cramped or confined spaces.
