Job summary

Cerebras is seeking a Compute / Server Platform Architect to lead the architecture for its trusted AI clusters, ensuring performance and reliability. In this role, you will be responsible for defining server configurations and lifecycle strategy, analyzing workload behavior, and leading technical vendor engagements to scale AI performance.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in server platform architecture and a strong grasp of Linux systems, with a commitment to fostering innovative AI solutions that extend beyond traditional computing processes.

Qualifications

  • PhD. or Master’s/Bachelor’s with 8+ or 10+ years industry experience respectively.
  • 5+ years in server platform architecture or large-scale infrastructure design.
  • Strong understanding of x86 server architecture and Linux systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture for server roles in Cerebras clusters.
  • Define and maintain server formulas for capacity planning.
  • Translate software and runtime flows into hardware requirements.
  • Stay current on emerging server technologies and lead evaluations.
  • Support bring-up and deployment debugging.
