Qualifications

• PhD in computational discipline or equivalent research experience.
• Background in Computational Biology, Computational Sciences, Statistics, or Machine Learning preferred.
• Hands-on experience training and evaluating deep learning models using PyTorch.
• Experience designing and executing controlled train/test split experiments.
• Experience working with SLURM clusters and HPC environments.
• Strong applied statistics and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scanpy/AnnData).

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate deep learning models using large-scale multimodal perturbation datasets.
• Design and execute controlled train/test split experiments to assess dataset components.
• Evaluate model outputs and performance against experimental data.
