Job summary

The role focuses on hypothesis-driven research in machine learning, informatics, computational pathology, and novel diagnostics, with expectation of independent funding and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Independent hypothesis-driven research program in machine learning, informatics, computational pathology, novel microscopy techniques, or innovative test development.
• Ability to obtain extramural funding with salary support from NIH and other sources.
• Willingness to teach at undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write advanced experimental protocols in their specialty.
• Demonstrate research results through publications and presentations.
• Engage in teaching duties for undergraduates, graduates, residents, and fellows; participate in professional societies.
