The Computational Microscopy Imaging Laboratory (CMI Lab), within the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida, seeks an OPS Research Assistant to support federally funded projects in computational pathology, biomedical imaging, and spatial omics.

You will assist with data processing, quality control, software testing, visualization, and documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of investigators, clinicians, and researchers.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in AI/ML/CS or related field.
• Experience with image analysis, Python and R, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with digital pathology, biomedical imaging, or spatial omics data analysis.
• Git and scientific computing tools in Linux or Windows environments.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparation and processing of biomedical imaging, digital pathology, and spatial omics datasets.
• Support computational image analysis, data annotation, and quality assurance activities.
• Perform routine data entry, file organization, and documentation for ongoing studies.
• Conduct quality control checks on imaging and research data to ensure consistency.
• Assist with organizing research outputs and maintaining project records.
