Job summary

Azulene Labs is seeking a technically oriented researcher to develop and extend physics-based models for molecular and materials simulations. You will translate theory into efficient numerical methods and implement high-performance Python and/or C++ code, with exposure to parallel or accelerator computing.

In a collaborative, fast-moving environment, you will contribute to simulation pipelines, validation, and scaling of new methods while working with senior scientists.

Qualifications

  • MS or BS in chemistry, physics, applied physics, materials science, or related field.
  • Solid foundation in quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, and thermodynamics.
  • Strong scientific programming skills in Python and/or C++.
  • Comfortable working with mathematical models and numerical methods.
  • Self-directed, curious, and eager to learn new theory and tools.
