AbbVie is seeking a Computational Analyst (Neuroscience) at the Bioresearch Center in Cambridge, MA, on a hybrid schedule (onsite 3 days/week, 2 days WFH). The role focuses on integrating genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics data for target discovery and project support.
The candidate will refine analysis workflows and develop visualization tools, and will communicate findings to cross-functional teams with clear data representations.

Computational Analyst (Neuroscience), AbbVie Bioresearch Center Inc., Cambridge, MA (Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/2 days WFH/remote)).
Must possess a MS in Bioinformatics, (Bio)statistics, (Bio)Mathematics or related discipline & 1 year of academic or industry experience analyzing at least one of the following OMICS modalities: genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or metabolomics, from raw data to finished results. Of academic or industry experience, must have 1 course or 1 year with each of the following: (i) coding in R or Python; (ii) generating interactive & static data visualization using R/Rshiny or Python; & (iii) applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression & modeling to scientific questions.
Alternatively, would accept a BS in Bioinformatics, (Bio)statistics, (Bio)Mathematics or related discipline, & 3 years of analyzing at least 1 of the following OMICS modalities: genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or metabolomics, from raw data to finished results. Of experience required, must have 3 years with each of the following: (i) coding in R or Python; (ii) generating interactive & static data visualization using R/Rshiny or Python; (iii) applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression & modeling to scientific questions; & (iv) translating data results, including informative data visualization, in a non-technical format for written & oral presentations to stakeholders.
Experience may be gained concurrently.Would accept combination of education, training & work experience.
Salary Range: $126,278.99 - $142,500.00 per year.
