Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment. You will diagnose issues, propose upgrades, and perform preventive maintenance while maintaining accurate reports and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and multi-craft experience a plus.
• Experience with rotary screw, oil-free or oil-flooded air compressor service preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep the service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
