Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in West Virginia seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service air compressors and rotating equipment. You will troubleshoot on-site, maintain paperwork, and build strong customer relationships while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing rotary screw, oil-free and/or oil-flooded air compressors.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Physically capable to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes.
• Diagnose issues and recommend reliability improvements.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and stay compliant.
• Keep service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls quickly to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and take on additional responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:

• Experience in rotary screw, oil-free and/or oil-flooded air compressor service is required
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits.
• Valid driver's license; able to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.
