Job summary

Ace Resources, LLC is seeking a compressor mechanic with 3+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry to maintain natural gas compressor packages, preferably with Caterpillar 3500 series engines. This is field work requiring independent problem solving and a valid driver’s license.

The role requires advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, experience rebuilding compressors and engines, and the ability to interpret technical schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of compressor mechanic experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Strong experience maintaining natural gas compressor packages, preferably with Caterpillar 3500 series engines.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Experience performing compressor and engine rebuilds and interpreting technical schematics.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ariel compressors and Caterpillar, Waukesha, or Ajax engines.
• Experience troubleshooting Murphy, Altronic, Allen Bradley, PLCs, and control systems.
• Electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting experience.
• PEC SafeLand, H2S, OSHA, and First Aid/CPR certifications.
