Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Tell City, IN is seeking a Compressor Maintenance Technician for a full-time, dayshift role. You will inspect and maintain air compressors, monitor unit readings, and support the HVAC/maintenance team on special projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Record maintenance logs, service reports, and equipment readings.
• Cleaning of Compressor Coils: Perform preventative cleaning in dusty environments.
• Routine Maintenance: Check oil, oil filters, air filters, and separator elements.
• Inspection & Testing: Monitor gauges, valves, pressure levels, and temperatures to detect leaks or malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in motors, drives, controls, and pneumatic lines.
• Repair & Replacement: Fix or swap worn components like valves, control components, and hoses; basic plumbing skills may be required.
• Safety Compliance: Follow lockout/tagout procedures.

Salary Range: $27.00 To $30.12 Hourly

Job Description:

Responsible for daily inspection and checks on all building air compressors. Monitoring units as well as preventative maintenance on any problems found. Technician will report directly to the building manager. The technician may also assist the HVAC or maintenance team members on special projects when necessary.

Schedule:

8 – Hr. Dayshift Monday Through Friday

Standard Work Day: 5:30am-1:30pm

All applicants will be required to take a Maintenance Aptitude test that will check basic maintenance knowledge of the Specific Duties listed below.
