Job summary

Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC is seeking a Compressor Attendant to oversee a designated compressor pad during the winter snowmaking season. You will operate electric and diesel air compressors, perform routine checks, and maintain logs under the supervision of the Pump and Compressor Foreman and Snowmaking Manager.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays in cold outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid US Driver's License.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to work night shift (7PM–7AM).
• Must be able to work nights/days, 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a designated compressor pad, pump house, area, or zone.
• Start, stop, warm-up, and maintain electric and diesel air compressors as needed.
• Perform equipment adjustments based on snowmaking system needs.
• Maintain equipment logs hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Report pond and river levels to the snowmaking control room twice per day or as needed.
• Notify the control room of alarms or potential problems promptly.
• Remove snow/ice buildup at compressor pads, pump houses, valve stations, and related areas.
• Assist snowmaking personnel with transportation of equipment and crew.
• Assist the snowmaking mechanic/foremen with minor maintenance on portable compressors.

Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:The Compressor Attendant will report to the Pump and Compressor Foreman and Snowmaking Manager and will over-see operations at a designated compressor pad during the winter snowmaking season.
