The Compression Commissioning Technician performs pre-commissioning, startup, stabilization, and turnover activities for new or modified compression facilities.
The technician verifies that compressor packages and supporting facility systems are properly installed, aligned, tested, and ready to be safely placed into service. The role works closely with Operations, Automation, Electrical, Construction, Engineering, equipment vendors, and other affected groups to resolve startup issues and achieve a safe, reliable turnover.
This position is focused on commissioning and startup activities rather than the normal long-term operation of compression facilities after turnover.
The position will primarily support facilities in the Midland, Texas area and may require travel to multiple field locations.
