Job summary

UPMC Vision Institute in Pittsburgh seeks BC/BE Comprehensive Ophthalmologists to join our growing team across hospitals, clinics, and operating rooms. You will provide full-scope ophthalmology care with emphasis on cataract, glaucoma, retina, and anterior segment.

We support teaching and mentoring residents, engage in community outreach programs such as Guerrilla Eye Service and Mission of Mercy, and offer a collaborative environment with opportunities for research and professional development.

Qualifications

• Board-certified (BC/BE) ophthalmologist preferred.
• Experience providing full-scope ophthalmology care including cataract, glaucoma, retina.
• Involvement in teaching and mentoring residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care across hospitals, clinics, and ORs.
• Teach and mentor residents in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Participate in community outreach and eye care initiatives.
