Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and conditions.
  • Provide medical and surgical treatment for a variety of eye disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other anterior and posterior segment diseases.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and manage patient care effectively.
  • Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education.
  • Educate patients and their families about eye health, treatment options, and preventive care.
