Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Compounding Associate to move materials for Production under SOPs and GMPs, ensuring the quality and quantity of products produced.

1st Shift: Monday–Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, verifying ingredients and batch records, completing paperwork, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting daily goals. Excellent attention to detail and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Must be able to perform Basic math skills.
• Prior bulk material handling experience a plus.
• Demonstrated attention to Quality and Safety.
• Association has been in the position for a minimum of 1 year (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to existing corporate policies and procedures in the production department, including Quality, Safety, cGMP’s, and Good Housekeeping guidelines.
• Double check the ingredients name and ingredients code number of the transported raw materials matches the manufacturing batch record.
• All transported drums must be clean the top drum using a clean rag with 70% alcohol or approved sanitizer before weighing.
• Set up and operate all equipment within the assigned department.
• Follow batch tickets instructions and steps to produce a high-quality product. Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly.
• Meet or exceed daily goals set by supervisor within the assigned department.
• Demonstrated ability to train Trainees on best practice.
• Maintain, clean and orderly work area. May include cleaning machines, breakdown of machine, and cleaning areas around workstation.
• Display a positive attitude, teamwork.
• Able to follow directions and attention to detail.
• Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to assist in other areas, as needed.

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Compounding Associate is responsible for the movement of products (materials, components) for Production. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

Role’s Physical Requirements:
