Job summary

JCW Group is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a contract role at a 503B facility in Houston, TX. The position involves aseptic manipulations in an ISO 5 cleanroom, compounding CSPs such as IV bags, syringes, and pooled vials, and maintaining batch records in compliance with cGMP, USP, and state/federal standards.

Shifts available include 1st and 2nd, with working hours and days as specified, and candidates must be licensed or certified as TX Tech or CPhT with ACPE sterile

Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the US.
Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Texas (TSBP) and/or CPhT certified.
ACPE sterile products certification.
High school diploma or GED.
Working knowledge of cGMP (21 CFR 210/211) and USP standards.

Responsibilities

Perform aseptic manipulations in the cleanroom and sterile compounding of CSPs (IV bags, syringes, pooled vials).
Complete batch records.
Ensure the compounding area remains compliant with cGMP, USP standards, and state/federal regulations.

Job description

JCW is working on a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician opening on a contract basis with a 503B sterile compounding facility in Houston, TX.

This role sits in the cleanroom performing aseptic manipulations and compounding CSPs (IV bags, syringes, pooled vials) under ISO 5 laminar hoods, completing batch records, and keeping the compounding area compliant with cGMP, USP, and state/federal standards.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
2nd Shift: 1:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
