Pharmavite's San Fernando, CA facility is seeking a Compounder (Softgel) to operate equipment that encapsulates gelatin-based products in line with SOPs and GMP.
You will handle materials, monitor equipment, perform safety checks, maintain logs, and support production while adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines.

The Compounder (Softgel) is responsible for using equipment to manufacture gelatin and product to be encapsulated ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing processes.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required or 5 years work equivalency.
Forklift certification is required within three months of attaining this job.
Requires 6 months of manufacturing experience. Prior experience as a compounder or blending operator is preferred. A complete working knowledge of the manufacturing procedures for producing gelatin products is preferred.
Requires:
Stand/walk for most of the shift, with little flexibility to move from their stations unless relieved by others. Employees sit to maintain records and use computer. Perform repetitive duties for long periods. Intermittently move drums weighing up to 600 pounds (uses drum lifter, but some pulling/pushing required) and lift large containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Kneel periodically when manufacturing gelatin. Periodically operate a fork lift.
Warm temperature levels, fumes, vibration, dust, etc., sufficient to cause minor discomfort, oily/wet conditions. The requirement that employees wear protective eye wear, hair nets, uniforms, safety shoes, back support belts and gloves.
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

The salary range for this position is $45,000.00 - $74,000.00.
Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
