Flavor- is seeking a Compounder 2nd Shift to join its food flavor and fragrance manufacturing operations. You will measure, mix and compound ingredients according to established formulas, operate mixing equipment, and ensure product quality and safety.

You will monitor production, document parameters, participate in safety training, and collaborate with teammates to improve processes and yield. This full-time role requires attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in food science or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or compounding environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.

Job Title: Compound

Position Summary:

The Compounder is a vital role within Lucta, Flavors & Fragrances, responsible for the

precise measurement, mixing, and compounding of ingredients to create high-quality

flavor and fragrance products in a food manufacturing setting. This position requires a

deep understanding of food formulation processes, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Compounder will work collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficient operations while maintaining product integrity and consistency.

In this role, you will be expected to execute batch processes as outlined in production

schedules, utilizing specialized mixing and compounding equipment. You will monitor the entire production process, from ingredient preparation to final product inspection,

ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Your contributions will

directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction, making your role essential in

delivering safe and innovative flavor solutions.

Additionally, you will participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback on processes and suggesting enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality. A strong commitment to safety, quality assurance, and teamwork will be crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mixing and Compounding: Accurately measure and mix raw materials according to established formulas and batch sizes. Operate various mixing equipment, ensuring precise ingredient proportions and uniform blending.
• Quality Control: Conduct in-process checks to verify that all products meet quality specifications. Perform final product inspections to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain mixing and compounding equipment. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including ingredient usage, batch numbers, and quality control results. Document any deviations from established processes and report them to management.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety within the workplace.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that may arise during operations.

Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee will regularly work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
