Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) in Utah is seeking a Composite Technician to perform lay-up, braiding and filament winding per customer specifications. The role involves identifying prepregs, adhesives and resins, and following safety and QA requirements.

Evening shift duties include loading autoclaves and ovens, controlling heat/pressure/timing, and inspecting finished work. US Persons only due to DoD contracting; E-Verify compliance applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• U.S. Persons only; visa sponsorship not offered due to DoD contract.
• Experience with composite lay-up and bonding processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bonds and lays up composite materials per specs.
• Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens for bonding cycles.
• Monitors heat, pressure and timing for materials and agents.
• Assists in prepregs, adhesives and resins identification and selection.
• Completes quality checks on finished products.
