Job summary

• Perform complete inspection, including first part review of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies; initiate and document any non-conforming condition for MRB action.

Job description

• , working to structural repair manuals, component maintenance manuals and aircraft maintenance manuals, as well as other approved repair instructions from the manufacturer or airline customer.
• Demonstrates technical expertise in fabricating assemblies, reworks and repairs non-metallic parts, assemblies and aircraft applying knowledge of working characteristics of non-metallic materials and bonding techniques.
• Performs rework/repair in keeping with the Engineering intent through use of electronic media (work instructions, model-based definitions, specifications, requirements documents, MRB dispositions, etc.).
• Perform complete inspection, including first part review of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies Initiate and document any non-conforming condition for Material Review Board action.
• Must have experience with Taper sanding, lay-up, septum core remove and replace capabilities.
• 5+ years' of experience in Composite Repair is preferred.
